  • Climb a 6,000-meter peak
  • Live in Medellin again
  • Visit the motherland – Russia
  • Push my comfort boundaries with a jaunt to Damascus
  • Take a Zen meditation course in Japan
  • Eat cobra heart in Vietnam (just like Bourdain)
  • Drive the Pacific Coast Highway in California
  • Trek to Everest Base Camp

You lost me, buddy. I mean, I suppose I get what youre saying. I get where youre coming from. But you just seem to have forgotten that there are people out there who can see this issue for what it really is and may not agree with you. You seem to alienate a whole bunch of people who might have been fans of your blog.

A good friend recently bought me a great map/guide for Munich that came with special code to access an online database at http://www.alacartemaps.com, ideal for creating your own Oktoberfest itinerary

Very cool. I talked to tons of people in South Africa about their overland trips. I decided to save a really big one for a future adventure, but did enjoy my 5 days in Kruger Park and week in Botswana, both through Livingstone Trails.
