Arrive at any time and welcome to the limestone cliffs and turquoise waters of the Philippine islands.
Get to know your fellow travellers over dinner and drinks in the popular Poblacion, Makati neighbourhood. Explore the avant garde art galleries and listen to live music. Soak up the culture of this vibrant area and cheers to new adventures and friends.
Fly to Dumaguete and wave down a tuk tuk, a three-wheeled mini-taxi, for a rustic ride to the port. Board a boat bound for the mystical island of Siquijor and spend the evening on the pristine beaches watching the sun sink under the sea's horizon.
Spend the day exploring Siquijor's mystical caves, waterfalls, coral-filled waters, and 106km (65mi) of white-sand beaches. Snorkelling and diving are both great options here, and be sure to indulge in some fresh seafood.
Hop on a ferry to the island of Bohol, home to the tiny tarsier primates and fascinating formations known as the Chocolate Hills. Settle in to your G Adventures-supported homestay, get to know your hosts, and immerse yourself in this self-sustainable community.
Experience a morning of rural life by opting to join your host family as they tend to the farm before helping prepare a barbecue feast for lunch. After enjoying the meal together, say farewell to the Bohol community and head out to explore the famous Chocolate Hills. Be sure to capture a group photo with the mysterious mounds in the background. Later, travel to the coastal city of Panglao.
Spend the day freely exploring Panglao paradise as the options are endless. Choose to get a massage on the beach, snorkel with the sea life, dive to the coral reefs, or meditate during a yoga session. Have a toast to the sunset on Alona Beach before venturing into the nightlife with your fellow travellers.
Float your way to the next Filipino island; land in Cebu City then transfer to Moalboal, where beautiful beaches and bright turquoise waters await. On arrival, jump into the busy underwater wonderland and snorkel with a school of sardines. Don't forget your underwater camera.
Enjoy a free day to relax on the beach, swim with sea turtles, or canyoneer to the unbelievable blue Kawasan Falls. Opt to spend the evening on Panagsama Beach and pick a seaside bar to mingle in with your new friends.
Catch a flight and soar over the Sulu Sea to Puerto Princesa, capital of the island paradise of Palawan. Spend the afternoon getting to know this pristine city; opt to challenge your travel mates to a race on an inflatable obstacle park and catch the nighttime firefly show on Iwahig River. Or take a day trip out to explore the Underground River UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Travel northbound to the tranquil bay town of Port Barton. The day is in your hands - trek to Pamuayan Falls, bike or kayak to White Beach, or just enjoy the restaurants and bars in this laid-back beach village.
Take a short boat ride to Inoladoan (German) Island and laze in a hammock under a palm tree or maybe snorkel with sea turtles. Most travellers to Inoladoan only stop by for a quick day trip, which means we get to enjoy this small island paradise when the final tourist boat leaves. Tonight settle into your tent, grab a cold drink, sit around the bonfire with your toes in the sand, and watch for constellations.
Wake up to the sounds of the sea and catch the sun rising over the horizon. Boat back to the mainland and head to the white sand beaches and towering limestone (karst) peaks of El Nido. Take in this sublime otherworldly haven, then enjoy a night out at one of the many beach bars. Grab a drink on us and reminisce about all the life-changing adventures you've just experienced.
Today is departure day, but do not fear! There is no such thing as goodbye, only until next time. Hug your newfound friends, exchange social medias, and depart at any time.
