Airports and Airplanes from Around the World

I passed through a lot of airports on my trip around the world, big and small.

I boarded everything from a six-seater in Botswana to a jumbo jet to Thailand, and I always had my camera ready to go.

I was “that guy” fiddling with his camera on the tarmac as the flights were boarding in China, Qatar, and many places in between. How else could I get you some of these shots?

Wonderful photo essay Dave. Great shots of the diminutive side of the airline industry (love the Bhadrapur Airport!)

The reality of being a round the world traveler is that you spend a great deal of time in planes and airports. It certainly helps if you hold a childlike fascination for aviation. Not everyone has it, but it appears you do. I wonder what other airplane shots you have on your hard drive?

Haha, I LOVED this post!!! When I 1st became obsessed with traveling I was all about spending time exploring new airports. I would have the best time doing it! Then as time went on I started to loathe airports and wanted to spend as little time as I could in them. But, your post has made me realize I should rethink my attitude. :)

Did you all notice how well written this post is? I mean, it is clear that the writer wants to inform us rather then persuade, which is a big plus. I can definitely notice that behind each line there lies some tough research. I would also suggest that with each posting, you also address one question to your readers, in order to get more opinions, and to create room for some nice discussions on here!
