Words that come to mind when I think of Barcelona: football (soccer), the beach, tapas, wine, Picasso, partying, Gaudi, skateboarding, warm weather, and backpackers.

I wish I had more time in Barcelona, but I managed to see a lot in just a few days.

I'm in the midst of planning a trip to Spain and Barcelona is the first trip on my list! I'll be using these photos as recommendations of what absolutely needs to be done :)

Christine - there's a lot to do in Barcelona, and I'm sure it's even more fun when it's warm.

Ahhhh, I want to visit there SO bad. Seriously, I'm dying to get there and even more so after seeing these photos (minus the meat one, haha).

We loved Barcelona, it had one of the coolest pieces of art I've seen in Europe. Parc Guell is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of el Carmel in the Grà cia. Their http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_Güell doesn't do it justice! A great park with statues, tile work, viewpoints, it's like being in a piece of artwork on the wall. Truly cool.

If you are coming to Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia is a must see! Though it willtake another 10-20 years to be finished, the interior is expected to be completed this year!
