Here I am, drafting this post while living in Medellin once again. It feels like the last year and a half since I first arrived in the city has flown by. Looking back, I packed a lot of sightseeing in my first few weeks in the city.

  • The Botanical Garden and New Aquarium
  • Parks and Pueblito Paisa
  • Plaza Botero and Bandeja Paisa
  • Medellin's Cable Car
  • Teatro Lido
  • Pablo Escobar's Grave
  • Capoeira in Colombia

Planning a trip? Go Backpacking uses and recommends:

  • G Adventures for small group tours
  • Skyscanner for researching flights
  • Hostelworld for booking hostels
  • Airbnb for renting rooms and homes
  • Rail Europe for train passes
  • World Nomads for travel insurance

Sometimes we should not just judge about what we here of a place. It is always best to see it for ourselves :) I’m saying this because I have only heard about it but never even visited the place…but from all the pictures you provided and the description after it, I can say that the place has something good to offer.
