Dare #2 - Completed - Boy Meets Girl

Modified: Mar 6, 2020 · Published: Dec 8, 2007 by Dave Lee |

Dare # 2 -

From RBL: I dare you to convince single women (aged 18-35) to have their photo taken with their hand on your shoulder.

Reward: $5 per woman. No limit.

Christina and I

It didn't take long for me to complete my first dare (technically the second submitted). I met Christina and Alexandra on Moorea, and as we got to know each other, the cameras came out. They tipped me off to a fantastic activity in South Africa - something I would've never thought possible for tourists. I'll leave it as a surprise!

Please keep the dares coming!

Dave You are going to make rbl broke if you keep having such a good time  Great posts and pictures. How has the food been and have you added any items to your pack?

The food has been good - in French Polynesia I mostly ate French food (go figure!) like ham and cheese, baguettes, croissants, though I did have some veal and sashimi on my last night.

Here in New Zealand, it's been more American type food - a chicken pannini, Subway sandwich, and chicken kabob.

My pack weighed the same exiting Tahiti as it did leaving home - 20 pounds (9.5kg). I had picked up a sweatshirt from my friend in NYC which is nice in New Zealand, and tossed 1 of 3 pair of socks, 2 magazines, and a misc item or two.

    Photos are great!

By my count, I now owe you $30. My dare excludes married, but"spoken for" counts. Seems to me that Lucy and Madeline should count, too. I may get picky about "hand on shoulder" at some point, though.

You won't hear me argue! I'm going through a social break here in Auckland, though things may change once I get my energy back, and board the backpacker bus tomorrow (for the tour of both islands the rest of the month). :)

Hey Dave - If you can post any pictures of you with more than 6 single women with their hands on your one shoulder I'll give you $10 per pic!

Oh wow, that's definitely a more challenging dare! I'm not even sure I've been in a situation with so many women travelers. I'll add it to the dare page and keep my eye out for a good opportunity. :)

You'll just have to PUT yourself in the situations *evil, evil, evil grin...* Of course, if your course and one of my tours crosses I'll make sure to get you enough women *grin.*
